Continuing with the XLARGE President series – a range of collaborations commissioned by the brand’s president, Mr. Minagawa – the brand aligns with motorcycle manufacturer, Yamaha, for a limited edition TY-S model bike. Featuring signature design elements, this collaborative effort will be on display at the XLarge Harajuku store from February 3 to the 17, giving patrons the opportunity to enter a lottery to win the custom Yamaha. Applications for the lottery will be available starting February 3, accompanied by a select run of racing shirts sporting motifs from both brands in black, yellow and white. via hbeast

It appears that Odd Future has a string of projects in the works this year that should keep their followers content. While Tyler, the Creator has been working on the follow up to Goblin, Wolf, which is due this spring, Mellowhype is also set to shake the industry with its Numbers release in the summer. In addition, the Los Angeles collective has just announced the arrival of its new mixtape OF Tape Vol. 2, through Odd Future Records on March 20. The project will contain all new records from Tyler, the Creator, Frank Ocean, Hodgy Beats, Left Brain, Domo Genesis, Syd the Kyd, the Internet and Mike G. The release will be graced by a ten-city U.S. tour that includes a screening of the crew’s Adult Swim television show “Loiter Squad”, along with an Odd Future pop-up store in each city.

Stussy presents another boot collaboration this season. Together with Danner they worked on the Mountain Ridge Mid. A nice casual boot, it comes in a brown suede colorway with brown leather ankle support, red laces and off white outer sole. A release is scheduled for January 7th, 2012. Definitely need to add these to the arsenal!

If you’re into the 3D thing, this should be right up your alley. Travis Pastrana’s Nitro Circus squad will be bringing you this new movie at some point – there is no actual release date set but I heard the movie will be out sometime in the later part of this year…

After numerous sightings of the upcoming Nike Air Yeezy 2 on Kanye West’s feet during the Watch The Throne tour, we now get a first more detailed look at the upcoming sneaker collaboration between Nike and Kanye West. With an estimated release date scheduled for early March 2012, you can expect the sneaker to come like last time it at least 2-3 colorways. With the following images you get a better understanding of the new design and choice of materials. If these are the final ones that will also release, we cannot confirm at this point.

It’s probably a good thing that Kobe Bryant’s new signature shoes, the Nike Kobe VII System Supreme, come with two different inserts depending on the style of play, as the Lakers front office woes have left the team in such a state of flux that its best player still isn’t sure whether he’ll need to attack fast or strong when the season tips off in less than two weeks. “Attack Fast” or “Attack Strong” are the two inserts that make up the Kobe VII System, the former featuring a Phylon midsole with Nike Zoom designed for quickness and speed, while the latter offers enhanced support by way of full-length Cushlon misole and ankle cuff for physical play in the paint. “Adaptation,” a new spot from Nike Basketball, shows how easily Kobe switches from one mode to the other, demonstrating the seventh installment of Kobe’s signature kicks are indeed a “different animal, same beast.”
