Number (N)ine New Era 59Fifty Fitted Cap
Currently in its last movements prior to ceasing operations, Number (N)ine and its founder Takahiro Miyashita has gained a great deal of respect amongst his peers for Americana-infused designs. Some pieces from his 2009 spring/summer collection are seen here including an interesting note and perhaps the black sheep of the releases is that of the New Era 59FIFTY fitted caps. The caps are designed in a tonal checkered pattern with 3-D embroidery. Available now at Cliff Edge.

Nike Auto Flight
In times where high top sneakers are still all the rage, we have seen several strong releases from Nike. Besides the Air Yeezy, Nike has also recently introduced the RT1, which has been well receivd. Today we show you the new Auto Flight.
“The Auto Flight is a new shoe launch for 2009. The upper drafts off of the Flight Lite, anchored by a vulcanized sole. The clean black leather upper is set off nicely with the infra-red highlights on the tongue, and peeking through on the collar and upper lining.” Via Footlockerunlocked.
The Nike Auto Flight is coming in a black/red colorway, and will be released Holiday 2009.

John Hampton’s 40th BDay Bash
Saturday night we had the pleasure of joining Mr. John Hampton in celebrating his 40th birthday at the Retreat in Costa Mesa. We got to hang out with our friends from Wahoos, Maisto, Jada Toys, Hampton Productions, Spinmaster, Paid Dues,Gangsterbilly and King-LA! The party had a Western theme and the band Good Man Down played a set. Good times! Great People! Hope you enjoyed your gift John! NICE PICS JAE!!!

Rob Dyrdek’s “Street Dreams” World Premier
We’ve seen the official trailer and movie poster of Rob Dyrdek’s upcoming skateboarding flick Street Dreams, now we have word that the movie was well-received as it premiered this past Saturday at the Newport Beach Film Festival.
It was quite a scene, with a bunch of the cast and crew on hand, including Ryan Sheckler (above), Rob Dyrdek, Paul Rodriguez Jr., C.C. Sheffield and director Chris Zamoscianyk. Crowds of skateboarding fans, followers of the MTV reality show, “Life of Ryan”, and picture-happy onlookers showed up. The screening was a sellout.
Dyrdek spent $2 million of his own money to finance the film. It’s already been picked up for distribution, and will see a theatrical release on June 12.

Air Max Griffey Swingman Remix | Jackie Robinson
Jackie Robinson tore down the color barrier of major league baseball on April 15, 1947. In honor of this historic event, Nike designed this fresh Air Griffey Max Swingman Remix. The sneaker clearly features the Brooklyn Dodgers color scheme of blue, white & grey and Jackie’s number 42 stitched on the back heels, as well as the date “04.15.1947″ on the insoles. Other details include, a speckled pattern around the midsole, a swinging baseball player logo on the heels, and a metallic silver tag of Jackie Robinson. There’s no information on when they’ll release, so stay tuned for more updates. A must have for every DODGER FAN out there!

It was over two years ago that Rogue Status met with the ID Agency to discuss motorsports. The leading street fashion brand tasked ID with establishing a Rogue Status motorsports program. ID accomplished this and more by partnering Rogue Status with the SCION drift team for 2008 and entering Rogue Status in the 2008 GUMBALL 3000 Rally which they won the coveted “Spirit of Gumball” award.
