Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez (P-Rod) III Black/Red
With the latest incarnation of Paul Rodriguez’s signature third generation shoe hitting retailers, here’s an up close and personal viewing of the black/red version which will hit retailers for the fall season. The black/red upper features some subtle traits that define the shoe such as the safari pattern on the front and heel of the shoe. The outsole features a translucent part which exposes the midfoot shank. A premium white Nike SB box and drawstring dustbag came with this particular pair as it was sold at the Maloof Cup. SBTG x Nike Dunk High “Varsity Bones” Custom for Kobe Bryant
During the recent Asia tour by Nike-sponsored basketball superstar Kobe Bryant, a familiar Nike associated artist and customizer in SBTG presented Kobe Bryant with an exclusive pair of “Varsity Bones” Dunk Highs inspired by the theme of “What If”. The shoes were modeled after Bryant’s potential attendance at NCAA Division 1 school Duke with the relevant colorways seen alongside a special lasered wooden box with the Kobe Bryant logo. While much of SBTG’s work pertains to custom shoes, the man himself has seen himself at the center of his very own Nike SB collaboration a few years back. via hypebeast

anon Optics Summer 2009 Collection
This collection is especially unique due to the variety of colorways in each of the styles. anon has released a couple of styles such as the Hombre and Contender in a “Blacked Out / Murdered Out” color where details are black on black. Another unique color and treatment spin is the matte finishes on various styles including Hollyweird in Purple, Burnout in Red, Mary-Go-Round in Baby Blue, and Dallas in Chocolate/ Tan. As for a style offering, anon has pushed the envelope with two round pieces in the Wizard and Mary-Go-Round. The Jay-Z news cycle’s sped up in anticipation of The Blueprint 3, between “Death Of Auto-Tune,” replacing the Beasties at APW, and having MGMT guest on the new LP. Get used to it. And while the auto-tune eulogy came as an early leaked mission statement, it’s the poppy “Run This Town” that figures as the new LP’s first official single. Rihanna’s got the hook, Kanye takes a verse, and to his long list of titles you may now call Jigga “Caesar.” Hear it:

Supra Holiday 2009 Lineup
CCS was fortunate enough to grab a few flicks of the new Supra Holiday ‘09 shoes at Agenda Trade Show. This upcoming lineup will consist of a number of models including the Skytop, the Suprano, the Vaider and the TK Society. The latter model will now come in a 100% brown leather upper, while the two new Skytop colorways feature a Red/Black and a Black/Blue color scheme respectively.

Johnny Cupcakes ‘In-store Exclusive’ Tees
Johnny Cupcakes have just revealed a look at three new tees exclusively available at their retail locations. The Gator tee is this month’s Baker’s Dozen tee. It’s limited to only 130, and each is individually numbered. The other two is the Anchor tee. One of which is available only at the LA location, the other at the Boston location. via mashkulture
